You may also purchase professional learning and curriculum services that we tailor to meet your needs.
Who is professional learning best suited for?

Who do I contact to ask about professional learning options?
A professional development manager is assigned to each district/school/organization. Your professional development manager may be contacted here.
Who will be facilitating our professional learning?
Every session is facilitated by an expert educator who has extensive classroom teaching experience, is well-versed in literacy philosophy and pedagogy, and is a skilled Learning A-Z user.
Can we get a recorded webinar facilitated for our organization?
Yes! We have the capability to record webinars. When scheduling your webinars, please alert your professional learning contact that you would like a recording of your session.
How long are webinars?
Webinars are scheduled to run for 30-60 minutes, including time for Q&A.
How far in advance do I need to schedule a webinar?
We ask that webinars be scheduled at least two weeks in advance. All dates/times are subject to availability.
What preparation is needed for a webinar?
For a webinar, we recommend that the session be facilitated in a group setting to best promote collaboration and constructive communication. If possible, we recommend projecting the webinar while encouraging participants to log into their Learning A-Z accounts on their individual devices. If this is not an option, however, it can also be effective if teachers log into the webinar on their own or simply view it as a group.
What software does Learning A-Z use to facilitate live webinars?
Learning A-Z uses GoTo Training. We recommend that you install the GoTo Training software and verify your system’s compatibility in advance of the live session, which you can do by visiting https://support.logmeininc.com/gotowebinar/get-ready.
How long is an on-site workshop?
An on-site workshop can provide up to 6 hours of instructional time. These 6 hours can be divided into various increments (e.g. 3 hours; 90 minutes), but the time must be used in one day and cannot be divided across multiple days. Your professional development manager will work with you to ensure you and your team get the most out of your on-site time.
How far in advance do I need to schedule an on-site workshop?
We ask that on-site workshops be scheduled at least four weeks in advance. All dates/times are subject to availability.
How many participants can attend an on-site workshop?
To ensure meaningful collaboration and learning in an on-site workshop, we ask that there be a minimum of at least 10 participants, and a maximum of 30.
What preparation is needed for an on-site workshop?
For the success of an on-site workshop, we request that a facilitator have access to a projector and wifi. We also request that each participant have access to an individual device and their Learning A-Z login and password.
What if we need to cancel our webinar or workshop?
We understand that unforeseen circumstances arise, which may necessitate the need to cancel or reschedule a webinar or workshop. We require that any cancellation or rescheduling requests be sent in writing to your professional development manager at least two business days prior to the date of the scheduled session. Failure to cancel, or requests received less than two business days in advance of the scheduled session, may result in adjustments to the allocated professional development included with your account.
