Cheryl Widman

Special Education Instructor and Researcher

Cheryl Widman holds a PhD in Special Education from the University of Illinois at Chicago, where she teaches and conducts research. Inspired by her own experiences as a parent of an autistic college student, Cheryl hopes her research will improve outcomes for autistic students as they advance through college to careers. She has presented at national and international autism conferences and is a member of the Think College Affinity Credentials Committee, a group that focuses on the needs of college students with developmental disabilities.
