Reports to the VP of Strategic Marketing. Supports leadership and other LAZ departments with insights grounded in data from customer insights to competitive intelligence. Drives Agency Model acumen and best practices for team and organization. Provides the Mkt Services strategic direction and oversight of firm-wide and practice-specific marketing efforts. With the Dir. of Strategy and Dir, Account Management, develops and implements effective marketing strategies that are in alignment with the LAZ’s established priorities and plans. And, leads the tech infrastructure that supports content marketing, digital campaigns, database administration, Salesforce, external website, and all other marketing digital assets.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Works with VP of Marketing, Director of Account Management, Director of Strategy, and Director of Direct Marketing to create and execute LAZ strategic Marketing Plan
  • Works with VP, Director of Strategy and Director of Account Management to align/track budget to drive business goals
  • Works with Brand and Events Director to ensure campaign is branded appropriately for key audiences, key practices, and industry sectors
  • Responsible for the execution of digital marketing and creative campaign ROI and ROAS
  • Inspires team to deliver creative and engaging marketing activities
  • Keeps abreast of new technologies and ways to improve marketing suite
  • Directs, supports, and supervises complex marketing projects requiring the involvement of multiple groups with the department and throughout the firm
  • Manages the digital marketing suite and collaborates with the services team to ensure appropriate technology platforms are in place and utilized for optimal performance
  • Evaluates marketing systems, processes, and procedures, and drives innovation and continuous improvement; leverages technology to advance firm objectives including search engine optimization (SEO), greater engagement across platforms, enhance CRM use and sophisticated experience management tools, among others
  • With the Dir. of Direct Marketing, makes meaning of LAZ’s marketing data and provides reporting and insights to LAZ and Leadership to drive communication strategies
  • Understands the industry and keeps team on relevant issues
  • Ensures marketing tactics are data driven for maximum results and reach
  • Keeps abreast of competitor messaging and tactics to ensure LAZ messaging is competitive

Required Qualifications:

  • 17+ years’ experience
  • BS in Marketing, Business, Education or related field
  • 5+ years’ manager within Agency Model experience
  • Strategic Thinker: Sets the strategic direction of all problem-solution Marketing activities
  • Proven Leadership Ability: Coach, Mentor and Visionary
  • Communication: Able to clearly present ideas, and remain visible and accessible for the department and leadership team

Preferred Skills and Abilities:

  • Experience with managing remote team members
  • 3+ years’ experience with project management software
  • Superior C-Level presentation and communication experience
