Senior Learning Designer, Learning A-Z

Maria Lowenstein is a Senior Learning Designer at Learning A-Z. She brings over 20 years of experience as an elementary school teacher, literacy coach at an elementary school, and instructional specialist at the district level, as well as in the educational publishing industry. Maria also has endorsements in reading, English as a second Language (ESOL), and Gifted Education, along with her National Board Professional Teaching Standards Certificate (NBPTS) in middle childhood generalist. Maria is always putting research-based practices first as she collaborates with other learning designers at Learning A-Z to support current solutions and with the creation of new teacher and student resources. She believes in making sure the solutions designed are equitable and accessible for all learners.
