Dr. Neena Saha, Education Researcher
Dr. Neena Saha is an education researcher, entrepreneur, and advocate for making literacy research accessible to educators. She earned a master’s degree in educational neuroscience from Columbia University and a PhD in special education from Vanderbilt University, where her doctoral work on decoding resulted in a patent. Her research has been published in journals including Journal of Learning Disabilities and Reading & Writing. After completing her doctorate, she founded Elemeno, a company dedicated to helping bridge the research-to-practice gap in early literacy. Following Elemeno’s acquisition by MetaMetrics, Dr. Saha joined the organization to help develop early literacy products, tools, and services. She also continued leading the Reading Research Recap newsletter, which translates current literacy research into practical insights for educators. Today, she continues exploring new ways to make research more understandable, accessible, and useful for all.
