Committed to the work of LGBTQ+ affirmation at the intersection of education and equity, Bex Mui has studied, worked, and advocated for LGBTQ+ inclusion in the K-12 education system for the past 18 years. She holds a master’s in education with a specialization in literacy from Bank Street College. Bex worked for ten years as an elementary classroom teacher, Equity and Inclusion Director, and LGBTQ+ coordinator.
