TUCSON, AZ — December 15, 2014 — Learning A-Z, a PreK-6 educational resource company and part of Cambium Learning Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: ABCD), announced today the launch of the newly created Headsprout Educator Grant Program.
The grant provides K-5 educators with the opportunity to apply for a free one-year subscription to Headsprout, a dynamic reading program. Headsprout teaches children to read through engaging online instruction that automatically adapts to every student's unique learning needs, and an informational training session designed to ensure that educators use the program to its fullest potential.
"Learning A-Z is committed to helping every PreK-6 educator," said Bob Holl, president and cofounder of Learning A-Z. "As school budgets across the country are being cut, we understand that teachers don't always have the means to purchase our products. Our new grant program was created as a way to help teachers improve their students' reading skills — regardless of their institution's financial means. We want every student to become a successful reader and successful student, and Headsprout is an excellent tool with proven results and efficacy to help them reach that goal."
Learning A-Z is committed to helping educators identify and secure funding opportunities.
