Live Web Conferences

Learning A-Z uses Acrobat Connect for its Internet conferences. The Learning A-Z web conferences include product and website usage demonstrations and slide shows on teaching strategies, all presented by a curriculum expert. You will see the presentation on your computer screen while listening via telephone. During the conference you may also participate in online polls and chats as well as ask questions by phone.

Participating in an Online Class

Registering

  1. Click the Classes tab to view the options.
  2. Choose the Learning A-Z product for which you want training (Reading A-Z, Raz-Kids, Writing A-Z, Reading Tutors, Science A-Z, and Vocabulary A-Z) to see a schedule.
  3. Pick the class. Click the class title to see a description and register. If this is your first class, once you click Register Now, you will be prompted to create a free training account to set a username and password. (These usernames and passwords are separate from your Learning A-Z usernames and passwords.)
  4. Click �Registrant Not Assigned�, select your name, and then �Continue Registration�.

Once you click �Confirm Registration�, you will receive an e-mail confirming your class registration.

Preparing for and Attending Class

  1. Click the link provided in your confirmation e-mail at least 5 minutes prior to the class start time to access the website and and get set up for the class. Once connected, you will see the trainer�s computer screen on your computer monitor.
  2. Call the toll-free conference number in your confirmation e-email to join the conference phone call.
